If the power does not turn on, check the items below.</p><h2 id=\"h_01KHJG8CYW4E75K8AZMPBBZJ9Y\">Check the power supply</h2><p>Confirm that the GX-1B is being powered with a supported power source.</p><p>The GX-1B supports the following power supplies.</p><ul>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"ef0a8c1e6c5a72f948a7a80f8984121ee\">Alkaline batteries (AA size, four batteries)</li>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"e0c2305eb301d8ac2aded0cfe3818f2d0\">AC adaptor (<a href=\"https://www.boss.info/global/products/psa_series/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BOSS PSA-S series</a>, sold separately)</li>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"ec381f0b192a3dbce249c0a6aba1cb888\">USB bus power</li>\n</ul><p>Using an AC adaptor other than the specified type may prevent the unit from powering on or may cause malfunction.<br>USB AC adaptors may not operate correctly with the GX-1B.</p><h2 id=\"h_01KHJGK04Y1TGXX01T27484JKS\">Check the INPUT jack connection</h2><ul>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"e688fc89eaa1e7effea114c7695627ef2\">Make sure that a plug is inserted into the INPUT jack. <br>The INPUT jack also functions as the power switch. The power turns on when a plug is inserted into the INPUT jack, and turns off when the plug is disconnected.</li>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"ee6117b75e7100968fcf7eba78579e371\">If the power turns off when the plug is fully inserted, check the type of plug being used. Only a standard plug (TS) can be used with the INPUT jack.
