TD-15: Activating Ad-Hoc Mode (Wireless USB)

The following steps will guide you through activating Ad-Hoc Mode in the TD-15 so you can use the TD-15's wireless USB function.

Insert the wireless USB adapter into the TD-15 and then turn on the power.

Note: For the best performance and connection reliability, Roland recommends using Roland brand USB wireless adapters only (i.e. Roland WNA-1).

Access the wireless menu and turn on the Ad-Hoc switch in the TD-15:

1. Press MENU.

2. Cursor down until "SYSTEM" appears, and then press the function 3 button (SYSTEM).

3. Cursor down to "Wireless," and press function 3 (ENTER).

4. Press function 3 (F3) again - (OPTIONS).

5. Cursor to Ad-Hoc Mode, and then turn the dial clockwise to choose "ON."

6. Turn off the TD-15's power, and then back on again with the USB wireless adapter connected.

After the TD-15 has rebooted, an AD-HOC Key Code will appear in the TD-15's wireless display. To access the wireless Key Code:

1. Press MENU.

2. Cursor down until "SYSTEM" appears, and then press the function 3 button (SYSTEM).

3. Cursor down to "Wireless," and press function 3 (ENTER). The Key Code appears.

Enter the displayed Key Code into your iPhone/iPad after clicking on the "TD-15" as the wifi device in your wifi settings.
If "The TD-15 is not Connected to the internet" appears, choose "Join Anyway."

The connection will be established.

If the connection does not establish, perform a full "slide-off" and reboot on the iPhone/ iPad.

To reduce interference which may cause connectivity problems, it is recommended to turn off any other bluetooth or wifi devices you may have near the TD-15 (Wifi router, Wireless security cameras, etc.).
