Aerophone Pro AE-30: How to install Sound Packs and Wave Expansions

Aerophone Pro AE-30 System Program Ver. 2.00 or later is compatible with Roland Cloud content.

The following are required to install the Sound Packs and Wave Expansions.

• Aerophone Pro AE-30 unit (System Program ver.2.00 or later)
• USB flash drive (Type-c, formatted using the AE-30)
• Roland Cloud Manager App (Windows, macOS) 

Preparing the Sound Files

1. Download the latest version of the System Program and update the AE-30 unit.
2. Download Roland Cloud Manager and install it to your computer.
3. Launch Roland Cloud Manager and sign-in to your Roland Account.
   - If you are new to Roland Cloud, click “Join Roland Cloud” and create an account.
   
4. Click “Hardware” or “Library” on the lower left of the screen.
   • In the Hardware screen, select “AE-30” in the upper model list.
     
   • In the Library screen, click “Series” and select “AE-30.” Click “Download” of the content you wish to install, and place the file on your computer.
     
5. Connect the USB flash drive to your computer.
6. Save the file in the appropriate directory of your USB flash drive.
   • SOUND PACK (extension: .SDZ): ROLAND/SOUND folder
   • WAVE EXPANSION (extension: .EXZ): Root directory
7. Safely disconnect the USB flash drive from your computer.
