Here's how you can record USB Audio on your RC-505MKII. This is useful if you want to use software instruments in your DAW, for example.
With the RC-505MKII's USB Mode set to VENDOR and the driver specific to your operating system installed, you can record USB audio.
To set this up, follow the below steps.
- Press the [MENU] button.
The MENU screen appears. - Use the [>] button to switch to the page containing “USB.”
- Press the [3] (USB) knob.
- Under ROUTING adjust the knob to LOOP IN.
If you would like to route the USB audio signal via the MAIN and PHONES jacks, set the ROUTING to LINE OUT.
To route the USB audio signal via the MAIN, PHONES and the USB port to your computer, set the ROUTING to SUB MIX.
NOTE: When the ROUTING is set to LOOP IN, it will NOT trigger AUTO RECORD.
