|5100079475||Hard||A two-layer mesh head designed for powerful drumming as taiko compared to the Regular Type. It also offers higher durability, and the strike sound is louder.|
3-layer mesh head which is the same type that's initially included with the TAIKO-1.
- The mesh head along with outer rim and frame are included.
- For details on how to replace the mesh head, see the following documents and video.

- Only the mesh head and outer rim can be used as replacements. For details on how to replace the outer rim, see the related Q&A, "Can I use the outer rim that comes with the dedicated mesh head for replacement?."
- Since the mesh head may not maintain its shape once it's been removed from the frame, Roland cannot guarantee its performance when reused.
